Literature Text

I've been having a weird feeling on the back of my neck for the past couple weeks on random days.

It feels like someone's watching me, but with this packed bus, I never know if they are or aren't, so I just shrug it off.

At least until just the other day. As I was getting off the bus I felt a hand go into my back pocket. I searched around me and seeing nothing I just continued on my way.

"Excuse me," A voice called out to me from behind.

I turned to face the owner of the voice and seemed to lose my own.

I think it was her lips that caught my eye the most, they were the color of a fire on a summer night. The color helped show off the fullness and softness of her lips. A smile came to them and I realized I had been staring, I raised my eyes and gave my own sheepish smile and met a pair of startling blue eyes.

"You dropped this," The girl said, holding out the cartoon-character wallet that was bright red, the same red as her lips, and now that I see it, her fingernails.

I blinked down at the hand for a moment before realizing that she was holding my wallet. I hastily moved to take it from her.

Her hand moved slightly away from mine and I looked back up to meet her face. "I'll give it back, I just ask for something in return."

"Like a reward?" I asked.

"You could call it that."

"How much then?"

She gave a warm hear-felt laugh, "I don't mean money." He held the wallet out to me and placed it in my hand. She then took hold of my outstretched wrist and leaned over it.

I felt a press of lips to my wrist and when she came back up to my eye level she winked at me and walked away.

I looked down at my wrist and saw a red lip-print on my wrist. I gave it a small smile and shook my head lightly before I saw something different with my wallet. There was a piece of paper sticking out of it.

I slipped the piece of paper out of my wallet and put my wallet in my back pocket. I opened the intricately folded piece of paper and saw the note.

The note said: "It seems that even though I am quite obvious about it, you never notice my glances at you.

If you wonder why I look at you on the bus, well, have you seen yourself?

This, you can call it obsession if you want can be for many reasons. It might be the random accessories you add to your wardrobe every day, it might be the way your nose crinkles when you're reading lost in the world of literature, or it might even be the absent-minded smile you have across your lips as you stare out the window of the bus with your music playing so only you can hear.

You can pick your own reason for this, but do know this: you should watch for pick-pockets, they can be anywhere.

Sincerely, the girl with lips like fire."

I looked up from the note to where I had seen the girl who had returned my wallet disappear to and gave another smile and shake of the head before I moved on to my own direction.
So... I love how when I began writing these, I wasn't expecting it to become a collection of stories, but it has... And well... It's just another one that can be seperate from the others...

Though it's a bit different because it's not as descriptive... It's just a run-in

Tell me what you think! Thanks~!
